Copper pipes according to EN 1057 World Quality and / or

There should be seamless semi-hard annealed and straight pipe.

Copper should be electrolytic and free of arsenic.

The inside of the copper pipes must be washed with Trichoterylene or Carbon tetrachloride. The relevant standard, the name of the manufacturer and the suitability for the use of oxygen must be permanently inscribed on the copper pipes.

The copper pipes should be closed to the construction site and lowered in nylon packaging.

Clamps to be used in copper pipe assembly should not be plastic, iron or iron alloy. Clamps made of brass or copper should be used.
Fittings should be used in the installation, welding places should be made with copper and silver welding wire with copper welding. Bending can be done by using suitable methods and apparatus in pipes up to 22 mm diameter.

Copper-brass welds should be factory-cleaned with 40% silver alloy welding wires and cleaned.

During welding, an inert gas is passed through the copper pipe and the pipe should be cleaned and blackened.

The pressure drop in the pipelines should be calculated and the system design should be done according to International Standards (British HTM 2022, European Norm EN 737-3 and International Standard ISO 7396: 1987).

12. All manufacturing and assembly operations shall be carried out by testing in accordance with test procedures and test forms prepared in accordance with ISO 7396: 1987 and EN 737-3 or HTM 2022 norms.
The tests of the central medical gas installation to be carried out shall be carried out in accordance with Article 12 of EN 737-3: 1998 as follows.

Leakage Test: During the test period from 2 hours to 24 hours, the pressure loss should be less than 0.025% per hour. These variations should be checked according to the ideal gas law.
The test pressure shall not be less than 6 bar for medical gas pipes.
Cross Test: There should be no cross connections between the pipes.

All other relevant tests shall be based on EN737 and / or HTM 2022 Test Procedures.

13. The installation of the installation should be specialized in Medical Gas Systems and must have ISO 9001 certificate. The expertise should be clearly written within the scope of the document.
