Medical Gas Outlets shall consist of 2 parts. Even if the first section is removed for maintenance purposes, there should be no gas leakage from the second section.
Sockets should have check valve system.
The sockets must be gas-specific. It should not work with the subscriber plug of another gas. Gas sockets should be in connection standard BS5682 and EN737-1 quality standard.
The parts of gas sockets to be mounted on the walls or units shall be indexed in a specific manner and the text and colors indicating the characteristics of the sockets shall be in the colors specified in BS 5682: 1992 standard.
The parts of the medical gas receptacles except the covers and screws shall be made of brass material and the indexing pins shall be made of stainless steel material.
The cover of the medical gas receptacles shall be made of anodized aluminum material against fire and breakage.
- The force required to fit the socket is max. 100 N
- The force required to disconnect the socket is maximum 110 N, mininmum 20 N
The valve should be easily replaced without any tools, as the part operating on the principle of valve allowing the passage of gas will be the most easily malfunctioning part. Once the second mounting part has been removed, the first mounting part must prevent gas leakage and ensure 100% sealing.
Gas sockets must be supplied with a 2-year warranty and a spare part supply guarantee for 5 years.
10.The product must be in conformity with EN 737 Standard and CE Certificate and should be stated within the scope of the certificate.
11. Manufacturer and producer companies must have ISO 9001: 2000 quality certificate and clearly indicate that they are given for Hospital Systems within the scope of the Certificate.
